Sure we are putting in some co2 to the environment. Even changing the balance.
Why not look toward solutions that will create more co2 absorption. And fund that.

Branson launches $25m climate bid

Millions of pounds are on offer for the person who comes up with the best way of removing significant amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson launched the competition today in London alongside former US vice-president Al Gore.

A panel of judges will oversee the prize, including James Lovelock and Nasa scientist James Hansen.

Sir Richard said humankind must realise the scale of the crisis it faced.

6. Yea, that's good, Alter the Ocean to absorb more Co2

Just watched video presentation from Craig Venter.

He offers a few possible solutions, one most promising appears to create conditions in the ocean for it to consume more Co2. Obviously the ocean is the the largest contributer and absorber of Co2. His sampling of the ocean and analysis of DNA genome has doubled the amount of previously known proteins. The ocean is major-ly diverse in Microbes and surprisingly viruses.
One liter of seawater has ten million viruses.

The Viruses are found in the bacteria they inhabit. I was thinking the other day of altering the makeup of the ocean in certain places to produce more algae, which in turn could absorber more Co2. Dr. Craig Venter thought was to try and alter the viral load on the bacteria already present in the ocean,or inoculate then to viral infection. which would to enhance their environmental condition, to produce more algae bactria to absorb Co2.

Yea, Cosmic Ray! ?
Get informed, For at least the last few thousand years it seems that the amount of
Cosmic Rays reaching into the lower atmosphere is responsible for the formation of clouds. Which in turn create a cloud cover causing climate cooling Or winter type conditions Of the lack of causing Global warming. This theory is being retested for verification by scientist.
