I can't find the LBN story so I've posted the pic here. My gosh, this is find is going to save Iraq? I can't believe this was major Media Whore/DOD news to brag about.

In this photo released by the US Marine Corps, Marines stand near several large caches unearthed on Thursday in Karmah, Anbar Province, outside the building that masked the entrance leading to an underground bunker complex.

2. Well, maybe a small pick-up truck
But here's the key phrase: "a working air conditioner." Tells you this must have been a major insurgent base of operations. Oh yeah -- that and the two showers.

Clearly the insurgents broke into this place (oh, excuse me, they wouldn't have to break in, because nothing was secured after Saddam fell) and squatted there in between raids.

BFD.

Does anyone buy this shit anymore?

3. I found a working air-conditioner in a building on Eniwetok
several years after the US had left the island to the Marshallese. Does this HVAC indicate that we were still doing nuclear testing?

By the way, our crew was DELIGHTED to find AC and a working generator. It beat the hell out of the tents and flashlights we were used to---but the former operators (the Dept of Energy) hadn't been seen on the island for years...
