A shipyard worker sits inside the hull of a dhow while carving one the boat's ribs with a chisel at the Saif Mohammed al-Qaizi shipyard in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday. Expatriate workers, mostly from southern India, use traditional methods to build sea-going ships, called dhows, which can measure up to 60m in length and are used to ferry cargo between the UAE, other Persian Gulf nations, Iran, India, Pakistan and East Africa. The larger ships can take up to a year to build. Other than the saws used to cut the tree trunks into planks and beams, almost no other electrical tools are used.

3. Beautiful huh! Gosh, I wish I could sit in it and smell the wood and

run by body against the wood! I wish I could be one of the Masters' apprentices! But you know, I believe the Masters are treated like low life scum. I don't say this without experience. Though I've never been to the Middle East, I've seen a thousand times the way Indian, Pakistani, Thai, and PI workers (male and female) are treated, spit on by the host country. Females are very very often raped and beaten by their Slave Masters. The women, 99%, never make a report because that means they'd lose their employment card. Thus money...
