Hmm, here's some interesting poll numbers in the "War on Terror"tm
ABC poll of 510 adults

President ordered attacks to fight terrorism: 64 percent agree

President does good job: 65 percent

Trust President to handle U.S. response to terrorism: 68 percent

President is "honest and trustworthy": 24 percent

Now the kicker - poll data was from 8/22/1998, substitute the word "President" for Clinton

Here's other questions I left off, which would probably have given it away at first:

Question 1: Support missile attacks: 80 percent

Question 3: Clinton ordered attacks to turn attention away from sex scandal: 30 percent (the Repuke base)

This poll was taken after Clinton ordered missile strikes on Sudan and Afghanistan, trying to take out Osama bin Laden, 8/20/1998.
