Armed attack in Ingushetia kills three Russian soldiers

MOSCOW, Aug 26 (KUNA) -- Three Russian soldiers were killed on Saturday after armed men attacked their military patrol vehicle in the border area between Ingushetia republic and Northern Ossetia, Russia television said.

Russian security sources quoted by Russian TV said that the military vehicle was patrolling the border area when it was suddenly attacked, resulting in the death of the three of soldiers, and the injury of a fourth.

Security forces have now been stationed in the area to look out for the attackers who hid in nearby woods.
