Convicted killer Inderjit Singh Reyat minimized his connection to the Air-India bombings and the defendents in the Air-India trial Monday.
Mr. Reyat testified he had no involvement with defendant Ajaib Singh Bagri when experimenting with construction of an explosive device or purchasing items used in the bombs.
He acknowledged that he was "close friends" with defendant Ripudaman Singh Malik.
But the friendship was mostly based on seeing each other at a Sikh temple and sharing the same religious convictions, Mr. Reyat said during his third day of testimony at B.C. Supreme Court in the unprecedented Air-India trial.
