Suspicious package found in alley
SANTA ANA

Authorities were called out Friday night to investigate the contents of a suspicious package in a Santa Ana alley, authorities said.

Police and fire authorities responded to the 1600 block of Cubbon Street, where the package was found in an alley about 8:25 p.m., said Sgt. Ken Witt of the Santa Ana Police Department.

As of 9:35 p.m., the contents of the package were unconfirmed.
