Hand grenade explodes inside car in Salem, New Hampshire

SALEM, Mass. -- A car has exploded in Salem and is being blamed on a hand grenade going off inside the vehicle, officials said.

Neighbors in the area said the explosion shook their walls.

No one was hurt in the incident.

One person, who was burned however, is being transported to hospital, but no word on their condition.


"The talking lizard says this isn't covered on your insurance."

2. WHDH completely mis-reported this story
See here:

WHDH mis-reported the explosion as taking place in Salem, Mass instead of Salem, NH.
They also claimed the explosion was caused by a grenade.
Looks like it was a plumber's acetylene tank.
WHDH-- YOUR BAD!
