Suspicious Package At State Office Is Mail Scanner

(CBS13) SACRAMENTO The State Department of Consumber Affairs in Natomas was evacuated for several hours after a worker heard ticking coming from a mailroom package.

About 800 people stood outside as police and CHP officers surrouned the building on North Market Boulevard with yellow crime tape.

The package was first reported just before noon. The mailroom worker actually took the package outside and called authorities.

<snip>

It turns out the package was a mail scanner. Employees returned to work around 2:00pm.

1. I woke up this morning
to find a suspicious lump on my face.

It only turned out to be my nose.

Glad I used the Google before blowing it off.
