Suspicious Package Scare Seabreeze Strip Mall, Palm Harbor, Fla-- just construction supplies

PALM HARBOR - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Ofice is investigating a suspicious package that was found in a parking lot of a Palm Harbor strip mall.

Deputies responded at around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon to the Seabreeze Strip Mall near the intersection of Curlew Road and US-19 where they found a small package similar to a shoe box with a fuse like string coming out of the box.

Two businesses in the strip mall were evacuated.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad reported to the scene and blew up the box of explosives safely.

After further investigation deputies say the the suspicious package turned out to be a box of construction supplies that were left behind by a paving crew.
