Long Beach Airport is currently being evacuated. Hundred of people are currently being evacuated from Long Beach Airport.

The California airport is under an outbound lockdown from what appears to be a suspicious piece of luggage that was found, according to FOX news. Watch a video report live

The airport is still receiving incoming flights, but passengers will be kept on the planes, according to an airport spokesperson.

Police cars have begun blocking traffic and the Main terminal in the airport is being evacuated. There are a lot of people in the parking lot at the airport.

4. And my RSS feed only looks for "Suspicious Package." Not "Suspicious Device" or "Suspicious Letter"
... or even "Bomb Threat."

I usually get between 5-10 "suspicious package" news items per day, almost always between the hours of 9-5, Mon-Fri.
