Gunmen attack school kids - India

India - A group of masked gunmen stormed into a high school in northern India on Friday and opened fire in a classroom, critically injuring five teenagers, officials said.

Six or seven men, wearing masks and armed with guns, forced their way into the school in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh state, said Dipti Vilas, a senior government official in Lucknow, the state capital.

"The men stormed a classroom where classes were on and began firing indiscriminately. Five students were injured and all of them are in critical condition," Vilas said.

Vilas quoting eyewitnesses as saying the men walked out of the school after the firing.
