BEDFORD, N.H. (AP) -- Police in a Bedford, New Hampshire neighborhood say they've found three homemade explosives.
One was found in a resident's driveway Monday. Police said that the device had nine carbon dioxide cartridges, and they said it could have created an explosion powerful enough to kill someone.
Police said two other, less powerful explosive devices were later found near homes in the same neighborhood. Those two were bottle bombs, a homemade explosive that relies on a chemical reaction to explode.
There was no immediate indication why the devices were left in the neighborhood.
