TSA: Man Slips Past NC Airport Security

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Airport officials searched about a half-dozen airplanes at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport on Friday after a man bypassed security screening.

The Transportation Security Administration noticed the man had slipped past screeners shortly before 8 a.m., said spokesman John Allen. Officials shut down Concourse C to conduct a search, but were not immediately able to locate him.

Allen said officials are searching about a half-dozen planes, but 10 others left before officials were able to search the flights. He said those flights will be reverse-screened when they land.

"We're investigating what happened and it's too soon to say whether there was malicious intent or whether it was someone who was confused and passed the security screening," Allen said.

1. When they land?
Doesn't TSA mean, "if"? Or does the TSA just not want to alarm people...

uhh... why?

The very act of landing would suggest that is not needed. I guess they just can't miss an oppertunity to steal the $5 bottles of water their victims bought AFTER security the first go around.

Oh well, just more of the annals of TSA fucktardery, maybe the guy was standing right infront of them and he took of his hat.
