Suspicious Package Blocks off Streets in Topeka, KS

Topeka Police were called to an apartment complex in the 2400 block of SW 22nd at about 3 p.m. today in reference to a suspicious package.

The Topeka Police Bomb Unit is on site and is investigating the package.

As a precaution, Topeka Police blocked off several streets in the area, including MacVicar, directly south of 21st. They reopened the roads just before 5:45 p.m.

Police confirmed the package was not a bomb.

Then again, who the hell would have wanted to blow-up Oklahoma City, either?
