Pictures of the downed chopper's heavily damaged tail section bear a striking resemblance to the smooth angular design of other stealth aircraft and have left aviation experts struggling to identify the unknown machine.

4. Maybe, but they may be grossly overthinking it too.

Military radar isn't effective below 50 feet or so. Combine that with a flight path designed to avoid inhabited areas, the use of mountainous areas for cover, etcetera, and a skilled and well informed pilot could stay off their screens doing something like that.
