http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A16860-2003Aug3.html"Bolton, an advocate for a tough approach to North Korea who has allies in the Pentagon and Vice President Cheney's office, mentioned Kim by name 40 times and appeared to make the case for government change. Bolton charged that "while he
lives like royalty in Pyongyang, he keeps hundreds of thousands of his people locked in prison camps with millions more mired in abject poverty."
Yesterday, North Korea fired back.
In a statement attributed to a spokesman for the North Korean foreign ministry, Pyongyang said: "We know that there are several hawks within the present U.S. administration but have not yet found out such rude human scum as Bolton. What he uttered is no more than rubbish which can be let loose only by a beastly man bereft of reason."
<snip>
But Pyongyang made clear that "such human scum and bloodsucker is not entitled to take part in the talks." In fact, the statement added that in light of Bolton's "political vulgarity and psychopathological condition," the government has "decided not to consider him as an official of the U.S. administration any longer, nor to deal with him"."
It's not that he's not telling some truth, but should he be saying it that way right now, is the question? Does * have some other army in reserve that we don't know about, or does he expect everyone to back down in the face of his bluster?
