TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Iranian Minister of Agriculture Jihad Mahmud Hojjati currently on an official visit to Brazil met with his Brazilian counterpart Roberto Rodriguez on Tuesday, exploring avenues for expansion of bilateral agricultural cooperation.
During the meeting, Hojjati briefed the Brazilian minister on Iran's high agricultural potential, a report released by the Relations Department of the Agriculture Jihad Ministry announced.
He expressed his country's satisfaction with Brazil's investment in implementation of farming, agro-industrial and sugar cane projects.
The Brazilian minister, for his part, said the trend of agricultural development in Iran has been positive in recent years, saying Iran is now able to meet its domestic agricultural needs.
