Is China LW or RW? Is it LW with RW elements? What is the ratio? What is longterm dominant .. RW or LW?

Ditto, India. Post here said "gov guarantees a job for EVERYONE for at least a fourth of the year". Sounds LW. But is it?

Please, no time for links to long articles. Just want only your 'executive summary" for me.. in your words, half a screen at most.

1. china is right wing

in the sense that it is concerned with chinese nationalism.
with elements in the military being more nationalistic than those in the communist party.
communism in theory might be left wing -- but when practised by corrupt individuals -- it becomes a means to line ones own pockets and cronyism.

just my take -- i also never viewed the old ussr as anything but a means to an end for a few individuals.

3. India is a liberal democracy

political parties with left, center or right leanings go to the electorate for votes. whichever party gets the majority vote in elections every 5 years gets to determine policy. sometimes, no one party gets a majority and a coalition is cobbled together.
between 1999-2004, the right wing BJP ruled with its allies. the allies themselves were not right wing, more centrist. this prevented the BJP from pushing its agenda - like pushing indian muslims into a corner and legally defining india as a "hindu nation."
in the 2004 elections, they were defeated by the centrist Congress and its Left Wing allies - Communist Party of India. They now rule the country, and policies depict their manifestoes.
