Woman Allegedly Guns Down Brother In Front Of Girlfriend

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- A woman who allegedly shot her brother several times inside their family's Gloucester County home has been charged with attempted murder.

Michelle Miller, 26, also was charged with aggravated assault and a weapons offense. Authorities said Michael Miller, 37, and his girlfriend were in his bedroom at the Monroe Township home when his sister came in around 8:45 p.m. Monday and shot him four times.

He was sitting in a chair when he was shot in the head, right shoulder and twice in the back, authorities said. He was flown by helicopter to Cooper Medical Center in Camden, where he was listed in critical condition early Wednesday.
