Should we have a "Guns NOT in the News" thread?

In the spirit of fair time should we start a "Guns Not in the news" thread? In it we could highlight all of the 230+ million firearms that are NOT missused?

One thing I've noticed since I started posting them a week ago. I get the stories by going to the Google news site and searching on words such as "gun", "guns", and "shooting". And in the past week, I've yet to see a story come up that deals with someone who defensively fired a gun to protect himself or his family.

Not one.

You would think that with all the defensive uses the pro-gunners claim happen every year, I would have found at least ONE........

The point was to highlight firearms that were NOT misused. Since these guns were NOT misused they would NOT be in any article. Of the 230+ million firearms in the US what percentage is used for crime?

I havent bitched. I just skip the thread. I dont see how pointing out a couple of shooting, or even a couple of defensive uses of a gun, really matters much in the scheme of things.

None of my firearms harmed or threatened anyone today. They behaved and didn't leave the house to go on a murderous rampage while I was at work.

In other news, I did manage to load up 1,000 5.56 rounds in the last couple of evenings. They did not harm or threaten anyone either.

14. I caught my....

Bushmaster trying to sneak out again last night. I took his bolt and carrier away from him until he learns to be better. Other than that I never have a problem with any of my other firearms. Go figure.
