May I Make a Suggestion??

When posting news stories here in Justice/Public Safety, why don't we agree to follow the same rule as on "Latest Breaking News" and use the same title as the news story? If you want to editoriaize, do it in the message, but keep the subject line intact.

It took me years to decide whether it's better to take the high road and insist on pure intellectual honesty and truth when dealing with those who have neither. You know, the sort of dishonest scumbags who, say, quote Newsmax, or slander Democratic politicians, or defend racists.

I've finally decided you have to fight fire with fire. Therefore I post the truth, but I don't mind giving it a little rhetorical nudge along the road. Otherwise the fire belongs only to the fools.

Besides, it's so satisfying to hear them wail when you hit back.

for gun control advocates to respond with a sound argument. So far all I see is avoidance of the issue with misquotations and slander.
