GOAL Rally/Lobby Day at the State House

When: October 23, 2003 11:00 AM.

Where: Massachusetts State House in the "Great Hall"

On October 23, 2003 Gun Owners’ Action League will be conducting a “Lobby Day” at the State House in Boston. This is an opportunity for our members to discuss with their local State Representatives and Senators the mistreatment of gun owners in our Commonwealth.

For five years the gun owners of Massachusetts have been waiting for the legislature to take action in correcting the misdeeds that have been done against them, ranging from the unchecked discretionary licensing system, to the fraudulent Attorney General’s regulations on handguns, to the outrageous new freedom taxes charged to citizens wishing to own a firearm. The unfair burdens placed on us have gone well beyond what any sensible person should have to put up with.

It is time for the legislature to do the right thing and fix a corrupted unworkable system that continually hamstrings hard working lawful citizens.

1. Do you live in MA?

If you do, please answer me this: I hear that in many counties, MA is pretty much Shall Issue...is that correct? Do you have to apply for CCW in the county in which you reside?

I don't live in MA, but I heard of this from packing.org. Either way, I hope the right denied gets restored.
