They did not know each other and told police they don't know why they were shot or if they were targeted.

The victims were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Police said the street was crowded with panicked patrons, and everyone was running in different directions after shots were fired.

They hope the shooter or shooters were caught on camera.

"To anyone that would potentially do this, my advice to you is that you may very well be videotaped," said Metro Police Lt. Melvin Brown. "We have a lot of cameras downtown and those cameras make some really good evidence."
