Not all clear on the firing range
http://www.thesunnews.com/news/local/story/1216194.html

A 49-year-old Pamplico man committed suicide in the target-practice area at the Myrtle Beach Indoor Shooting Range just after noon Monday.
Sgt. Robert Kegler with the Horry County Police Department said the man fired some rounds during target practice, then, at 12:05 p.m., shot himself in the chest.

1. I misread that as "Horror County"
Which would be kind of appropriate in the circumstances.

It seems rather an odd way to commit suicide, poor guy, but stranger things have happened. Glad he didn't inadvertently hurt anyone else, though it seems quite plausible he was actively trying to avoid doing that.
