Texas pulls last meal information from deathrow website

I was pretty disappointed to hear this. I'd seen the site a few times in the past, I always found it interesting if a bit morbid. It really makes you think when you see what these people had for thier last meals.

In some ways it humanizes them, but you can still click on the link that tells you why they are there.

now there's a kind-hearted soul. not to mention a logical dunce, because if you don't give a last meal, then the next-to-last meal becomes the last meal .... well, i guess they just want the inmate to starve to death....

Maybe they are given a set of choices, but I was surprised that there were not more extravagent requests. Lobster, prime rib, etc.

3. Common thread

Did you notice the majority of requests were for either home cooking or burgers? How extravagant is that? I guess they want the final comfort of something familiar.
