Any DU reloaders out there?
Just bought myself a Dillon XL650 for reloading .45 ACP and 9 MM.

Would be interested in hearing from any other reloaders, especially experiences in different powders and bullets.

1. Sorry,I'm not a reloader...
but is $1050.00 too much to pay for a M1 Carbine? I am new to guns, and want this particular weapon, however it seems a bit high. Do you have any advice? Thanks

2. M1 Carbine
I recommend going to another forum where there might be a few more shooters. Seems a little high to me. Depends on what kind of shape it is in and its rarity. I've recently found www.ar15.com and www.thehighroad.org. They may be able to answer your questions. Lots of opinionated folks on these two forums, like most forums. You might also do a search and find a forum specific to the M1. It's been many years since I got to shoot an M1, very early 70's in another place (country) and time. Neat shooter, but not much energy past 100 yards. There are better choices for a variety of activities.

Good luck,

moroni

3. Reloading
Check out these forums:

http://www.ar15.com/forums/forum.html?b=1&f=9

http://www.thehighroad.org/forumdisplay.php?s=296cc7398d13a2f0a220eeb5babbb8a7&forumid=15

Use your reloading manuals. Start out on the low side of your combination, about 10% down from max.

Your Dillon has a good reputation. If you have any questions, call their technical support line.

Blessings,
moroni
