Canadian SC to rule on cannabis prohibition on 12/23

These cases will answer if prohibition is allowed in Canada under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The possibility is very strong that at least possession laws and personal growing will be found unconstitutional. Richard Cowan whow is a past director of NORML and does commentary at marijuananews.com has said he thinks it will be found unconstitutional. Considering that the benign nature of cannabis is fact before the court since 1999, I also believe it will be found unconstitutional.

Always seems to come in small steps. I wonder if and how much if any pressure is being applied by the US in this matter. I imagine many eyes will be following this verry closely.

Hope they do the right thing and do away with prohibition. Go Canada!!!
