A Brooklyn homeowner shot and wounded a would-be robber three times as the crook and his accomplice rifled through the man's home early Wednesday.
Larry Goldstein, 62, and his wife were awakened around 2:30 a.m. by the sound of an intruder, police said.
The robbers were snooping around the first floor of the home on E. 64th St. in Mill Basin when Goldstein walked down the steps. He was armed with a .38-caliber revolver.
The homeowner squeezed off at least three shots, hitting suspect Alexander Manigat, 30, twice in the midsection and once in the arm, police sources said.
