Antique guns trigger UMSL campus scare

A campuswide alert warning of a gunman at the University of Missouri-St. Louis this morning turned out to have been caused by a longtime professor carrying antique guns as props for a class lecture, officials said.

Not the ones that are of the "assault" kind(some of these have bayonet mounts) and they are not to be taken outside the home, where they are kept unloaded, inaccessible to children, in a safe, separate from any ammunition, disassembled and preferably with the barrel plugged, all of which have a permit issued on the whims of someone in the executive branch and are registered in a national registry and not possessed by those on the magical terror watch list.

It's for the children.
