"Some scary moments for Eminem's mom along 8 Mile Thursday night in the Detroit area."

"Police in Oak Park, Michigan, say Marshall Mathers' maternal unit, Debbie Mathers, was carjacked as she sat in her black Honda Prelude at a BP gas station located along the five-lane stretch made famous by her son's Oscar-winning movie, 8 Mile."

"Debbie Mathers was unhurt in the attack. A 16-year-old Detroit boy was arrested following a foot chase on nearby 7 Mile."

"It's not believed the teen suspect knew he was targeting the mother of a hip-hop icon."
