California's gun control laws

What do you think about California's gun control laws? It's the strictest in the whole country. Do you see this as the reasonable model to adapt for the whole nation? Or is it still not restrictive enough?

So that makes it difficult for a lot of its intended audience.

5. It's crazy.. but it doesn't even scratch the surface of CA's gun laws.

Especially w/r/t:
--open carry
--CCW (one county v the neighboring one)
--handgun models
--mail order ammo

... etc etc.
