Thats right boys and girls. We cant seem to find a single person who agrees with the assault weapons ban to play this game but i guess its still fun when only us gun nuts play. Come on you pro-control anti-gun zealots, show us your knowledge of the laws you agree with. You know the rules, which gun is banned under the 1994 AWB?

Bottom: Kalashnikov variant...can't recall the designation. I don't particularly like that weapon since I find it rather awkward and a tad heavy. Never fired one though...sigh...

2. Number three...

Has a pistol grip and appears to have a folding stock. Then Number two may have folding stock...I can't tell Althoug Number One has a detachable mag and a forward grip, it doesnot appear to be a pistol.

I'd like to have a bullpup.

neither has a bayo lug visible though.
The Kalashnikov post-ban variant's stock is welded into the
collapsed position I believe.

5. Looks like the CETME....

Spanish copy of the FN-FAL. Bayonet lug is present...and
the flash suppressor looks like its a flash suppressor although
its difficult to tell from the pic. IMHO, it also looks like a muzzle
brake given how the holes are facing upwards.

13. Nice Isreali FAL clone

I don't think the rifle is a true Isreali, but a US made clone. The front sight housing on it should have an open eared gas block. The receiver does not appear to have a carry handle cut, or has a spacer washer installed. It also has a paratrooper rear sight which I do not think is correct either. The muzzle device could be a standard short combo device that worked as a grenade launcher, flashider and bayonet lug in one unit. It could also be a repro post ban muzzle weight that does not do any of the functions of the original, but makes the rifle look "correct". Because it appears to be a repro Isreali FAL I would guess it was post ban, and not an assault rifle.

The upper receiver, muzzle weight, trigger group, charging handle, rear sight and pistol grip are USA made.
The barrel and the gas system is Brazilian.
The buttstock and handguards are from Israel.
The selector (which you can't) see is donated from an L1A1(British).
The lower receiver is South African.
The front site is German.
The magazine is Austrian.

We already know how stupid the AWB is, and the anti's that frequent the J/PS are so embarassed about the AWB they won't even comment on these types of posts.

If we move it to GD, maybe more of DUers will learn just how stupid this law really is...hell, Russ Fiengold will apparently favor just letting the AWB die now....guess he is an asswipe lunatic with a gun fetish to some people now.

BTW, I think #3 and #1 are covered under the AWB.

Unfortunately, some on this forum outgrew Mattel long ago - more's the pity for them. Play is important wheter your a toddler or a centenarian. Also, the photos posted as well as the comments made about them illustrate some of the differences within our party. If those differences aren't addressed and resolved (not only RKBA) we're in deep doodoo come election time. (Remember the great splinters in '68, '92, and '2000 - Wallace, Perot, Nader? All three stopped a candidate. Luckily in '92 it was Bush the elder who was stopped by Perot. There would never have been an opportunity for the Florida fiasco had the party remained firm and intact.)

Since when is a willingness to debate and/or support an issue being thin skinned? If we stop working to support those issues we believe in, we may as well do away with the Constitution and allow any despot with the chutzpah and power to take over as dictator for life.
