Man Charged in Accident Shooting of Teen

Nye County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a man in an accidental shooting involving a 13-year-old.

Police say on Tuesday, they were called to a house after a teen was shot in the leg. Police say the boy was shot in the upper thigh with a .22 caliber revolver while he and other teen were playing with the gun.

The other teen was given the gun by his father, Casey Taylor. Police say several other guns were found unsecured inside the home.

Taylor was arrested for child endangerment. He was booked on $5,000 bail. Four other children were in the home at the time of the shooting, along with their mother.
