Woman Shot Through Floor In Upstairs Apt. 2 Men Facing Charges In Quincy Incident
Edited on Tue Jun-21-11 12:26 PM by Ian David
QUINCY, Mass. -- Police in Quincy said a woman was struck in the hand by a bullet fired from a gun in the apartment above the one she was visiting.

<snip>

Police said the gun belonged to Christopher King, 26, who works for an armored car company. His roommate, Joshua Perry, was handling it early Saturday morning when it discharged into the floor and struck Tiffany Flaherty. She described the experience as "awful."

Perry is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm and firing a gun within 500 feet of a dwelling.

King is charged with improper use of a firearm.

9. plenty of that around . . . . but seeing as this is a gun forum . . . . I was focussing my comments
to licensed gun-owner stupidity.

12. Armored car employee, not licensed gun owner
I suppose you call a cop a licensed gun owner.

Talk about stupidity, or dishonest, you call it.

20. Good question. Would have to check with Mass law and what company he worked for
the gun is most likely property of the company. I would not be surprised that his work gun is stored in the company's armory when not in use.

24. in Florida they must be certified and pass qualification requirements for each firearm issued
and that is an annual requirement including classroom training.

So I would answer "yes" to your question

26. That is totally different than a non LEO gun owner and you know it
Be honest for a change. So since this armored car driver is another example of an irresponsible gun owner, I in your mind cops are irresponsible gun owners also.

Got it. You hate cops and don't want them to have guns either.

I'll even offer a hint - he was charged with improper use.

I do not "hate" cops, never have. Why make up crap? I think their guns are absolutely necessary? Have never called for them to be taken away? Where do you get these assertions? I was simply responding to your question about licensing.

Good Heavens!

8. In other news,
State police have identified a masked intruder who was fatally shot in a Hunlock Creek home invasion Tuesday.

Robert Muntz, 44, of Sweet Valley, was killed at 59 Old Tavern Road, said Trooper Tom Kelly, spokesman for state police at Wyoming. In March 2009, Muntz was one of 22 charged in connection with a drug ring allegedly operated by the Outlaws Motorcycle Club.

18. Where does it say the female occupant was a gangster?
It does not. It does not identify the victim as anything. It only identifies the dead guy as a gangster. How did you come to that conclusion? Or are you assuming all gun owners or right wing lunatics and gangsters?
