Business being threatened with a boycott by anti-gun advocates

Starbucks (Although that boycott went exactly nowhere and it got there in a hurry)

Now, why is it more than ok for anti-gun activists to support a boycott of Starbucks, which is only complying with local carry laws, but it isn't ok for pro-gun activists to support a "boycott" of businesses that choose to ban weapons?

Why are we the bad guys for doing exactly what the anti side has already done?

4. We are free to do business or not do business...

however we choose. That applies to both the seller and the consumer.

The business owner has the right to "No shirt. No shoes. No service" signs; or "No Guns" signs; or whatever signs s/he wants. Conversely, consumers can remain shirtless or shoe-less or gun-less and take their business elsewhere or comply with the signs. Success or failure of the business will determine if the signs stay or go.

As a general observation, CCW holders are independent thinkers and rarely responsive to the "herd mentality" associated with boycotts. It is not that we are good guys or bad guys if we participate in public boycotts. It is that we are generally more independent, financially successful, and intelligent than anti-gun activists.

but Florida has had "shall issue" concealed carry since 1987.

11. I don't carry a firearm, and I couldn't care less if others do. That, I think, is more

representative of the "vast majority" than anyone who gets worked up about what others have under their jackets. (The failure of the Great Starbucks Boycott supports my claim...)
