An Ellettsville gun shop has been shut down after an investigation revealed the owner wasn’t doing the necessary background checks on his customers or making them fill out paperwork before they purchased guns.

Donald Mullendore, owner of Mullendore Guns, faces federal charges of selling firearms to a convicted felon and unlawfully selling a machine gun. His Ellettsville shop has been shut down and authorities seized his merchandise, U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett announced today.

Mullendore is accused of selling the informant a machine gun and other firearms, even though he knew the informant was a convicted felon.

“I destroyed all my paper and I just don’t care,” Mullendore said, according to the press release. “I’m going to give people the guns they need. This is God’s shop and what (God) wants to do with it is going to happen.”

After all, the ATF's F&F and Gunwalker program "encouraged" an FFL in AZ to allow multiple obvious straw purchases. (which is kind of entertaining to watch the hearings and see the BATFE idiots try to explain what they were doing fucking that chicken)

Though on reading the article, it sounds like this is actually a good bust. Oughtn't break the law-whether you're a gun owner, FFL, anti-gunner or federal agent. Particularly if you're a federal law enforcement agency.
