Declare guns, border guards warn Americans

Canadian border guards have a job to do in educating Americans about declaring their guns before entering Canada.

In the last week, border guards seized 10 loaded handguns, a shotgun and rounds of ammunition at B.C. border points.

Seven Americans were either arrested and charged or sent home.

He had a pistol disassembled in his car and was searched. He spent a lot of money getting out of trouble for that....

I was searched once when I stated the wrong purpose for my trip....never say field service...always sales. LOL

2. Can someone remind me why we/they even have a border patrol up there?

It seems to me that the primary goal of our northern border is to inconvenience people traveling across it. Newsflash: it's three thousand fucking miles long, mostly unguarded, and if someone wanted to smuggle things across, chances are they would take one of the thousand-odd ways through that DON'T have border patrol stations.
