2. Plenty of people who support concealed carry predicted this result ... |
|
when it was discussed here in the Gungeon.
No surprise to use. All the hyperbole by those who always predict that blood will flow every time a law supporting conceal carry is proposed never happens.

Of course, those that cling to their anti-gun religion will cite an anecdote or two (perhaps one involving a license or permit) and their fear mongering will be "validated".

7. Nothing surprising here. |

Those of us who support the right to bear arms knew this would be the outcome all along. Those that seek to deny us that right also knew it, but still they hoped for something to validate their fears. Fortunately for everyone, no such incidents occurred.

...when I read a post giving the example of a case where firearms controls have loosened and shootings have decreased, I invariably see the pro-control folks start saying things like there is no evidence that the decrease is due to the loosened controls.
Maybe it would be clear that no one is making that claim if in BOLD RED CAPS it said, "NO CAUSATION FOR THE DECREASE IS IMPLIED. THIS EXAMPLE REFUTES THE CLAIM THAT ANY RELAXING OF FIREARMS CONTROL WILL RESULT IN MORE BLOODSHED."
But maybe not; some are hard to reach.
