Robbery victim shot dead in spite of giving up wallet
http://www.ksdk.com/news/article/281303/3/Man-shot-to-death-despite-handing-over-cash

"Homicide detectives say despite handing over his money, a 63 year old robbery victim was shot to death by a man with a rifle late Thursday in the Jeff Vanderlou neighborhood."

Of course, this anecdotal example cannot be used to say that every or even most armed robbers will shoot their victims if given what they want, but it only takes one case to show that you are literally gambling with your life by submitting to one.

1. He was doing the polite thing...
Every robbery is different...so many variables even when armed.

It would be nice to think every time someone tried to rob a armed innocent person that the criminal would end up taking a dirt nap, but that's just not so.

2. We have to ban rifles, too, I see.
And maybe wallets as well.

3. He should have just complied with the robber....oh wait...
He probably provoked it somehow. Like not having enough cash to satisfy his robber. Remember, it's not just rude to be able to defend yourself, it's also rude to make a robber do extra work because there wasn't enough money in your wallet. Remember, appeasement always works. Just ask Poland.

4. Victim
Another shining example as to why Democrats and our party need to get completely away from the anti gun business. There are hundreds of millions of guns in the hands of the general public in the USA. Not controllable in any way,
While I am an armed citizen I am also a social liberal, I just have no intention of being a victim w/o a fight. Since gun control cannot work in this country, why do we as Democrats follow it as much as Republicans do on the "war on Drugs"? Both are lost causes. I was not there , but I strongly suspect another would be dead other than the Vic were I in his shoes.
Remember, police are, in fact, crime historians, their work starts, as a general rule, after the crime has been committed. Where then does the responsibility fall then to not be a victim?

5. What? Someone's pet thug wee-weed outside the litter box?
Shame on you, you little pooty-poo. You can't expect suckas to follow your odors if you keep lying to them. What will they think? That you can't be trusted?

6. Arent the anti's
always saying if you just give the bad guy what he wants, he'll go away? That one should never defend himself when it is "just property"?

Yeah - I'm betting that mugger's gun just went off by itself...
