Congressional Investigators Target FBI Over Fast and Furious
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/10/20/congressional-investigators-fast-and-furious-target-fbi/

Congressional investigators probing the botched federal gun-trafficking program known as Fast and Furious are now setting their sights on the FBI.

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, the ranking member on the Judiciary Committee, sent a letter Thursday to FBI Director Robert Mueller demanding answers about the guns found at the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

Terry was gunned down last December in a remote area of the Arizona desert by a group of illegal immigrants. Two of the guns recovered at the scene were later traced to Fast and Furious, the ATF program where more than 2,000 illegally purchased guns were “allowed to walk” or were not tracked, with many crossing into Mexico.

In the letter, the lawmakers ask 16 detailed questions about the number of weapons discovered after Terry’s death. While the Justice Department has maintained that only two guns were found, the Republican lawmakers say there are inconsistencies in documents including the search warrant and the unsealed indictment.

7. What does that have to do with ATF allowing guns across the border...
What does that have to do with ATF allowing guns across the border with NO attempts to interdict or track them, and the dead bodies, both Mexican, and American Law enforcement, that are a result of it?

Does Issas past somehow disqualify him from doing the job that his position entails?

Or were you just trying to distract.

I at least give a shit when MY government is responsible for them.

Do you?

Or does it only count when its NOT my government responsible, Mr. Hypocrite?

You were asked a couple question, now, rather than simply being an abrasive troll, and trying to distract from the issue at hand, would you care to actually participate and attempt to answer them?

10. the same could be asked
of pot smokers, (unless you grow your own) who pay for these shootings in both countries, because they are competing for market share and trade routes. Recreational drug users have far more responsibility in this than we do. We could close every gun store in the US, that would not put a dent in the gun flow to Mexico because it will not address the military grade weapons entering through their southern border and abroad.

3. Grassley and Issa should know better...this is IranContra continued, and Mueller helped cover THAT
for Poppy Bush, too. Grassley and Issa will only go so far with this for the dramatic SPIN they'll put on it for their RW audience, as long as Obama gets hooked into the story. Though, it's apparent to anyone with historic perspective that Poppy Bush's secret 'global operations' running illegal arms, drugs and moneylaundering didn't exactly stop just because he physically left the WH in Jan93.
