Pam Galloway (R D-Bag) rebukes gun training requirement (WI)

Wausau state Sen. Pam Galloway said she plans to remove a training requirement for a permit to carry a concealed weapon as permanent rules for Wisconsin's concealed carry law are developed in the coming weeks.

Emergency rules, proposed by Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen's office and reluctantly approved by Gov. Scott Walker, were put in place to comply with the Nov. 1 deadline to begin accepting concealed carry permit applicants. Galloway, a sponsor of the law, was angered by the inclusion of a training requirement and said she plans to influence the make-up of permanent rules, which are subject to approval by the governor and the Legislature.

"I would hope that the attorney general's office will remove the one-size-fits-all training mandate," Galloway said. "If they don't, the Legislature will have to."

A spokesman for Walker also stressed last week that the Republican governor wants to see changes to the rules when a permanent version is ready for approval.

3. Well, you're the one that supports his policy requiring training
You agree that training should be required, so you support his signing of the AG training requirments.

Maybe you should send him a thank oyu note and a check for $10. He's going to need it to fight his recall.

Nice to see situational ethics opn display so early in the day. "He's an asshole, unless he does something I agree with then he's not."

Keep up the good work.

7. Wisconsin was a bipartisan vote - only 6 against CCW
Does that make all the Dems that voted for it, including the Senate Minority leader who led the walk out and said he's getting a permit, "Morans" too?

One of these days you might figure out that this is not a GOP vs. Progessive issue, but then again, probably not.

Now try and get your foot out of your mouth, so you can post a lot of other pointless drivel on crime and criminals that is in no way related to gun laws, gun policy, CCW laws or anything else this forum is supposed to discuss, according to Skinner.

8. Do you support carry permits for the rich and famous like in New York City?
After all the 1% are far more responsible and honest than the 99%.

:sarcasm: (Just in case)

You seem to approve of the professional "gunwalkers" just fine. As long as they only effect those messican communities on the other side of the border, and a few border patrol agents...

Perhaps you prefer, as a requirement for the permit, that the prospective individual must walk some guns across the Mexican border under color of law, and THEN and ONLY then do they get their permit...

P.S. next time, maybe make a better choice of words.

10. Make sure you stay out of Washington State. 50 years of no-training required CPL's.
It's the fucking wild wild west up here.
