Atlanta Police Captain Van Hobbs said a group of people were playing video games inside the home when a woman left to get something to eat.
"As she was walking out, approximately four-to-five black male suspects rushed the apartment with handguns. She ran back in. They began firing into the apartment," said Hobbs.
The homeowner pulled out his own gun, wounding one of the men in the lower back.
The remaining suspects ran.

It’s unknown whether the suspect was struck, though Phenix City Police Capt. Frank Ivey said investigators want to talk to a gunshot victim who turned up at St. Francis Hospital that night.
Ivey said police were called to the South Seale Road home just after 11 p.m. The lone suspect kicked in the door of the home and tried to rob the two people inside.
It has been a bad time for armed robbers too. I found several stories of armed robbers running to armed resistance but I don't have time to post them. I have to leave for work.
