Mason, TX, concealed-carry instructor gets backed up by state...
The Mason, TX. concealed-carry instructor who made a few headlines when he vowed not to give instruction for concealed-carry for a shopping list of reasons -- religion, race, national origin, politics, etc. -- has agreed not to discriminate on the basis of at least the first three categories. This after a meeting with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Mason located well west of Austin, is a small town in a rural area. Maybe this was a way of pumping up his business and "exercising" his demons at the same time. There is no word that any instructors in the Austin area, home to large numbers of Semitic, Asian, Hispanic, Afro-American, Hippy and Cedar-chopper peoples, have made such an ill-conceived PR move.

1. Well, since he affirms that he will take on all trainees, despite saying otherwise in an ad.

He should be charged with false advertising. ;-)

2. Hopefully, he will pull down those ads, or get a free card back to DPS.

3. "exercising" his demons?
I'm sorry, I just can't help it when it's that funny.

Couldn't find a picture of a werewolf on a leash ...

Where I'm at, he'd be before a human rights tribunal (sometime five years from now) having the amount of compensation he had to pay to his victims determined.

4. I think that was a pretty clever way for the OP to put it, since this ass wasn't
exorcising his demons, he was letting them out to play... :toast: to the OP!

Anyway, here's a werewolf on a leash for you:

You'll just have to take my word for it - that's a 100% full-blown genuine werewolf (in wolf form)... ;)

8. Usually my spelling creates these little jewels randomly. That's...
no werewolf! No self-respecting werewolf grazes.

6. Good. Now if only the same rules would be applied to pharmacists...
In my perspective, if you've been granted a license to earn income by providing a service which the state requires citizens to avail themselves of before they can acquire a particular good, service or government-accorded privilege, it is your implicit obligation to provide that service to anyone legally eligible for it. If you don't like not being able to discriminate against certain customers, go live in a shack some remote corner of Idaho and take up subsistence farming.

7. isn't it nice when we all agree on something?
And let's not forget people licensed to perform marriages. ;)
