TRINIDAD — A handgun-wielding resident shot and killed a suspected burglar who entered his home with at least two other men early Saturday, police said.

4. That's exactly what Castle Doctrine laws are supposed to do
Protect people who make justifiable use of force in self-defense.

5. I support Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground laws ...
similar to those in Florida for the fact that if you do use legitimate self defense you can't be sued in civil court.

7. To be fair
The Trinidad Police think the shooting is gang related but since the evidence and the eyewitness testimony all back the homeowner they're letting it go.

Saw it the other night on KRDO I'll try to find the link
