Cheeseheads Are United! 45,000 Rush to Get CC Permits
Next to the Green Bay Packers, the ultimate football machine, this is the best thing happening in Wisconsin.

They waited a long time through strife, despair and two Jim Doyle vetoes.

But they're making up for it now.On Wisconsin!

Quote:
Wisconsin's concealed carry law isn't even a month old, but thousands of your friends and neighbors already have permission to pack heat and they're buying up the hardware to do it.

Wisconsin became the 49th state to allow residents to carry concealed weapons this month. Questions about liability still linger, but gun sales have increased across the state and the state Justice Department has been deluged with so many permit requests it's already scrambling to keep up.

"Long time coming," said Matt Slavik, 58, of Brookfield.

13. There are 870,658 valid Florida concealed weapons permits ...
Since October 1987 Florida has issued 2,078,899 carry licenses. Only 168 licenses have been revoked due to a crime committed with a firearm after the license was issued during the 24 years the program has been in effect.

19% of the licenses have been issued to women.

In Hillsbourgh County Florida where Tampa is located 42,832 people have concealed weapons permits. That's almost as many as the 44,443 applications that have been submitted in Wisconsin. The Cheeseheads have a way to go before they catch up with Florida crackers.
