BREWER, Maine — A Holden man was arrested Wednesday night after he allegedly brandished a 9 mm handgun in a dispute that began over Silly String.

Michael Bragdon, 21, was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon before being taken to Penobscot County Jail, Brewer police Cpl. Nelson Feero said Thursday.

Feero said police officers were sent to the parking lot of the Hannaford supermarket on Wilson Street about 9:30 p.m. after an unidentified person — who was not charged in connection with the incident — reported that Bragdon threatened him with a handgun.

The complainant told police the dispute began earlier in the day, when his vehicle was sprayed with Silly String, and that he believed Bragdon was the culprit, which Bragdon denied, Feero said.

1. Yep...
...and if spray paint had been used, that most certainly would have allowed for the use of a fully auto weapon.

:sarcasm:

2. Is being an idiot a requirement for getting a gun?
Or does the gun make a person an idiot?

4. Unlicensed concealed carrier
I'm assuming since he was charged with "carrying a concealed weapon" he didn't have a permit.

But we all know how many assholes there are from Maine, so this shouldn't come as a surprise to most folks.
