Thank you, Islamic Jihad. Thank you for helping to restore the honor and the rights of the Palestinian people, by trying to kill us with a Katyusha on election day, and claiming credit for the explosion of a Qassam that killed a Bedouin shepherd and his son.

And thank you, Iran. Thank you for defending Muslims from Indonesia to Texas by funding the Jihad and sending them Katyushas and goading their commanders to send mortar shells and AK-47 shells and rocket propelled grenades and hatred-propelled suicide bombers our way.

Thank you, Jihad, for the purity of your purpose in reminding us that the Jews have no place here.

You helped make us what we are. Or, perhaps more correctly, you helped us get back to something in us that we'd lost. In part, thanks to you and to your comrades in the Popular Resistance Committees and die-hard cells of the Fatah Al Aqsa Martyrs, something has happened within Israeli society that is so fundamental a change, that we cannot fathom it.
