I am listening to this:
A Military Perspective
Colonel Sam Gardiner, retired Air Force colonel who has taught strategy and military operations at the National War College
- provides military analysis of Israel's attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Host Brian Lehrer broke in with breaking news about 10:20 a.m. from the BBC announcing the security zone and Colonel Gardiner wondered if this weren't a prelude to an all-out attack by the Israeilis. The Colonel said this news was very important.
I checked the BBC but couldn't find a headline.
In addition, Colonel Gardener is saying the Israelis had intelligence on the kidnapping of the soldiers and did nothing to stop it. He thinks it could have been planned as an excuse to invade.
