Olmert's approval rating dips to a low 23 %
According to a poll conducted by the Dahaf Institute for the Knesset Channel, 77 percent of Israelis believe that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is not doing a good job, while only 23 percent gave him a high grade for his performance as prime minister.

About 60 percent of respondents rated Olmert's personal integrity as "not good" and only 30 percent as "good."

Regarding Olmert's decision-making, about 75 percent of respondents said it was "not good" and only 24 percent rated it as "good."

Olmert did not fare much better on the question of his ability to perform under pressure: 62 percent of respondents said he was not good at dealing with pressure, as opposed to 37 percent who said he was.

Eighty percent of respondents told pollsters they believed that not all of the relevant considerations were examined before the decision to wage war in Lebanon last summer was made; 56 percent said the decision to go to war was justified, while 42 percent said it was not.

2. Poll:Livni clearly leader ahead of Kadima primary
What are you thoughts on Livni?

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/809796.html

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni enjoys unrivaled support for head of Kadima and premiership within her party, while Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is trailing far behind, according to a new poll published by Israel Radio yesterday.

According to the poll, 49 percent of Kadima voters back Livni's nomination for head of the party should national elections be held earlier than scheduled, whereas only 8.7 percent of voters support the prime minister.

The poll, conducted by Panorama Markets, found that 42 percent of participants believe Olmert's government would last for just another year, 10 percent think it would last two more years, while 36 percent say it would last through the end of its term, November 2010.

Livni emerges from the poll as the most popular candidate for leading the party if Olmert quits and needs to be replaced: She enjoys the support of 37.7 percent of Kadima voters, compared to 16 percent who back Vice Premier Shimon Peres, 11.5 percent supporting Public Security Minister Avi Dichter, 7 percent backing Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz and approximately 6 percent favoring Construction and Housing Minister Meir Sheetrit.

4. if you look at the numbers
23% think he is doing an excellent job, 30% think he is doing a good job. that means that 53% think he is doing a good to excellent job.

see you can twist poll numbers to say different things, depending on how you present them.

3. Olmert turned out to be a disappointment
Sharon would have never done what he did to Lebanon. They wouldn't have dared to kidnap IDF soldiers with Sharon as PM.

Still, I would vote Kadima before I vote for the neocons and lunatics in Likud.
